Merry 2nd Day of Christmas!!

Remember that Christmas lasts until January 6th (Epiphany), so there is no need to be fretting over getting those decorations and lights down just yet!

Enjoy the Christmas music a little longer if you like. If you were over it in October I can see your point!

I have a couple of cards to share with supplies. I have also been working on my December Daily layouts, which need a lot more of my attention right now. (Below is a video of what I had done to the point of the video.) I am sooo behind. I may post some as I get them finished. We're in the midst of a blizzard here, so I think I may have some time to work on them!

I hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a safe and Happy New Year as well!

Eclectic Collection of Cards

From the 5th and Frolic paper collection from Dear Lizzy to Simon Says Stamp to Tim Holtz...there is a little bit from everywhere! I need to focus and create more and buy less. (As you may have seen on my haul videos...luckily, I sold off tons of my stash to fund my habit. lol!) I also did a few scrapbook pages, but I am so unskilled at scrapping that I hate to post my lame attempts. Anyhow, I am also trying to decide if I want to do a December Daily or a Thankful Journal for November. Decisions, decisions. I hope everyone is well and creating more than I am! Blessings to all!

Simons Says Stamp Card Kit October

I decided to give Simon Says Stamp Card Kit a whirl this month. Below is a video of the contents as well as some photos of several samples that I made using as few items that are not in the kit as possible. I had a lot of scraps, sticker alphas and liquid pearls left over. My only dislike of this kit is the lack of color. I enjoyed the patterns and color scheme, but could have used an embellishment or paper that I could have made one of the cards "pop".

End of Summer...

This was my last weekend of freedom for the summer...school starts (for me) on Monday morning. The end of summer break is always bittersweet. It is so hard to go back to not having a flexible schedule, sleeping in a bit, running errands when needed and most of all being with the kiddos. However, the opportunity to start anew always re-energizes me. I see possibility where perhaps I didn't see it before, fresh idea and new alternatives. In any case, Mitch and I rounded out our summer with a mini 10th anniversary overnight outing to hear Kenny Wayne Shepherd in concert. My mom, aunt and brother stayed to watch the kids giving Mitch and I time that we really needed...ALONE. :)
With all that said, after we got home mom was still here for a couple of days and we crafted a bit. Here is the first of what I am going to post this week. I dipped into my new products and began creating!
Have a Great Monday!!

Stamps: The Sweetest Thing (MME), Fillable Frames #2 (PTI)

FWF Old Bag

First of all, today is our 10th anniversary! It's amazing how blessed I have been to have such a terrific man in my life. No regrets. I pray that we are blessed for a longer, happy marriage.

Back from vacation and realized that it is Friday! How could I miss another one? Before leaving for vacation at Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake, I hosted my grandmother's 95th birthday party. It was so much fun! All of my cousins were there with their spouses and one great grand baby. I made three banners to decorate for the occasion. I also made a couple of birthday cards. She DID NOT receive this one. I was a joke I played on my dad. I told him that I would happily make the card for him so he wouldn't have to go and buy one. I made this one and an actual card to be given. It was priceless to see him choke and laugh nervously when he thought it was the card that he had to give her. too funny. I don't know that I could EVER give someone a card like this. Oh well...it was worth the funny moment! I used Unity's July KOM, PTI banner die and an Amy Tangerine adhesive banner. Check out Unity's Friends with Flair creations!

FWF Hot Summer!

It was HOT yesterday! The temps didn't go under 99 until a while after the sun set. Ick! Just like during a bad snowstorm, we hunkered down in the house and played. Today is supposed to be in the upper 90's again. We'll see how the little bit of rain we are "supposed" to get help cool things off. I got some HAPPY MAIL from Unity with the set I used to create this. (I will be uploading a video with this haul today!)

Anyhow, here are the cards I created this week. They all had to be popped in the mail quickly. I can't believe they are not setting around my craft room, but am glad they have a new home!

Thanks to everyone who has been checking out my Summer Cleaning Sale. I uploaded more yesterday and am willing to make a deal just to get it out of the house! Just email me at shamrockstamper@gmail.com. I also have it listed on the Scrap Yard on FB and at Two Peas in a Bucket.

Summer Cleaning Sale

As a teacher, I use the summer to do all of the deep cleaning and purging that I don't do the other 10 months of the year. lol! There is tons and I would like to get it ALL out of the house! I am willing to negotiate prices and will charge only the actual shipping costs. I'm also willing to bundle several items together to reduce shipping costs. I accept PayPal and will ship once the payment has cleared.

I also have a huge tote of papers that I am trying to figure out how to ship! Any suggestions would be great!

Shipping will be as cost effective as possible unless you simply want it priority. I never try to make money from people on shipping. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases.

My preferred method of payment is PayPal, but I am always up for a good trade.  I will ship as soon as the payment is confirmed.

PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE! I'm new at the pricing aspect, so bear with me.

Send me at shamrockstamper@gmail.com with the item(s) you would like to purchase or would like more information on.

Thanks for looking!!

To My Foxy Friend

On a whim I headed over to Splitcoaststampers to pick up a challenge idea for inspiration and decided to do a quick card (or what I thought was going to be quick) for the CAS challenge. Let's just say that using a Crop-a-Dile on embossed grommets is messy. Luckily, I was able to re-emboss them to touch-up the mess. Embossing powder is forgiving in that way at least. The inspiration for this week is bathing suits. I took inspiration from three suits and probably surpassed a clean and simple card. Oh well...I went there for inspiration, right? Not to necessarily follow the rules. lol!

Don't forget about the giveaway on my You Tube Channel. (on the sidebar)
Check this post. Ends tonight at 11:59pm!

FWF: Canvas Card, Plain Jane Tag & Giveaway

Welcome to my Unity FWF share! Make sure to check out their blog and website for the awesome sale going on!

This was my first experiment creating a card with a canvas base.
I purchased one 12X12 sheet from Archiver's a couple of months ago and finally decided that if I didn't break the package open and try it the money I had spent would be wasted. Either it was going to be great or end up in the bin down in the basement!

My tag project focused on using the Plain Jane baseboard ivory spray on kraft cardstock with dry embossing. So fun! I really didn't know if I would like the product, but have easily fallen in love!

I also included a couple haul and project videos that include these two projects with a chance for a 4th of July scrappy prize!

Blessings to all and thanks for visiting!

FWF Pinterst Inspiration & Giveaway Winner

Thanks to my friend Lydia for pinning this gorgeous table runner on her board because it caught my eye at about 11:30p and keep me going until 1a. lol! I wish I would have had some beautiful burlap for the card, but opted, once again, for the Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection, which has a burlap paper in it. The flowers were made from the B side of the burlap paper. Maybe the burlap was the B and the text was the A. I dunno. I digress...
